99:9's Weekly Round Up #57
My content for the week
99:9 here with another newsletter. Here’s the new content I uploaded this week:
Every great civilization throughout history has fallen. There has never been any empire or civilization that lasted forever (though they all thought they would). Civilizations rise, survive for a few hundred years, and collapse. Why is that??
Because none of these civilizations put God at the center. Humans are Designed to run on God; so are our civilizations. When God is not the focus of a society, the society is doomed to collapse within a few hundred years, same as any other fallen empire. But what would a Godly society look like?? That’s the important question. And in Part 104, we look at one possibility. Don’t miss it.
Turning the other cheek is probably the toughest command in the entire Bible to follow. It’s our natural instinct to retaliate when harmed. We never want to let things go. But just because we turn the other cheek in the moment doesn’t mean our aggressor gets away with no consequences. In fact, if we give up our vengeance and turn the other cheek, the LORD will take His Vengeance. It belongs to Him, and He will repay every transgression against us. Scripture promises so. And that’s what we look at in Part 105, be sure to check it out.
If we had a deadly illness, and we knew that, but we denied we were sick and refused all treatment for it, what good would that do us?? How foolish would that be?? We would be killing ourselves. But most people do just that when they deny having their emotional wounds and trauma from childhood. They go about their lives trying to pretend everything is fine. Jesus can enter the pain of our wounds and heal us on a Spiritual level. But only if we ask Him for help and invite Him in first. Before we can do that, we have to be honest with Jesus about where we’re hurting, and what wounded us. Check out today’s post to learn more.
Well that’s all for the week. I hope this gives you something good to read on your Sunday. Enjoy the week. I’ll be back next week with the next newsletter!
