99:9 here with another newsletter. Here’s the new content I uploaded this week:
We all have to manage the dynamic of walking in the Spirit and fighting our flesh. There are things we can do that make it easier to walk in the Spirit, and things that make it harder. Alcohol is one of those things that make it harder to walk in the Spirit. When we drink alcohol, our sinful flesh nature is empowered and comes to the forefront. Alcohol encourages every sin of the flesh. Check out today’s post to learn more.
Based on recent events surrounding a celebrity Christian in the U.S. named Josh Duggar. A man who seems to have a history of sexual problems, is now accused of charges related to child pornography. His case serves as just one more example of the truth that what’s done in the dark will be exposed to the light. No sin stays secret or hidden forever; we should all take this to heart.
The troubles of the present can often distort our view of the past, present, and future. When rain ruins our plans, for example, sometimes it feels like it always rains when we want to do something. But if we apply rational logic to our situation, we know this isn’t true. And besides that, we also know that the rain doesn’t last. It can’t rain all the time. Things will get better, after the storm is over. We need to remember that, when we’re going through hard times. Just because the storm clouds of life block our view of God’s Love doesn’t mean that it’s not there.
Well that’s all for the week. I hope this gives you something good to read on your Sunday. Enjoy the week. I’ll be back next week with the next newsletter!
